Jack Martin’s photography can be seen in the Group II exhibition in InSight

Jack Martin is a rock ‘n’ roll and documentary photographer based in Toronto. He maintains a web presence as sevres-babylone, where his work can be accessed through sevres-babylone.com. A long-time member of Gallery 44, he has been exhibiting in its members’ group exhibitions that have been held during the Contact Photography Festival since 1998. Most recently, his street photography was part of the group exhibition, Acts of Exposure, at Gallery 1313 in May 2012. Two solo exhibitions, “Mexican Photographs” and “jesus rides the bus – pictures from el Salvador,” were shown at Toronto’s 52 Inc. His music photography was the subject of a profile in Taddle Creek Magazine in 2007. Currently he is wishing for a messy winter so he can continue work on his ongoing “Dirty Snow – Winter in the City” project.
